Our E-news Letter For August

It's finally happened, daughter number five is off to college and we are officially "empty nesters", at least for most of the time. A change in lifestyle often brings about a change in housing needs.
The current housing market is brisk, with low inventory and creeping interest rates creating a frenzy of activity. However, life doesn't check in with the market to determine the best time for a housing change. People get married, get divorced, have babies, lose loved ones, have children move out, have children move back, all without consulting the current real estate trends. To best be able to handle the "life stuff", you need a team of trusted people to help with any decisions. A realtor should be included in this team.
Attorneys should advise you on legal matters, a CPA on tax issues, and a realtor on housing decisions. Sometimes, it doesn't make sense for someone to move, and if that's the case, we'll tell you. Caring for our clients is far more important to us than any transaction. Although we earn our livings helping people buy and sell houses, the value of our business is the trust we have earned from our clients. You can't put a price on that, and we are perpetually grateful for the confidence you put in us. Thank you.
Sometimes the decision to move is easy, and sometimes life makes it difficult. Either way, we are here to help with the decision. You need a professional who has your best interests in mind to help with any housing decisions, just like a legal or tax expert. We are here to help, just give us a call. We are always glad to meet with you to discuss the current market, current home values, and if your move makes sense. As we have said before, real estate has nothing to do with houses, it's all about people. We can help you with the "life stuff".
Drive carefully, summer is over and school is starting. We know because our house is unusually quiet.

Barbara, Tom, Susan and Emily,
Nalls Home Partners
